We are a small 100% Native owned and operated group of professional, technical and personal development companies located just outside Olympia, Washington. We are a collective of Native researchers, trainers and retailers with decades of experience in social services, criminal justice, education, health, housing, planning, human resources and management. Jane M. Wood, MPA - President
Jane (Sisseton-Wahpeton) holds a master of public administration and a baccalaureate in business management. She has over twenty years experience helping front-line through executive-level staff improve accountability, efficiency and productivity in their organizations.
She has previously served as an internal auditor, management consultant, researcher, training and communications manager, and as a curriculum developer for some of the largest agencies in Washington state. She is the founder of Oyate Research and Training and Oyate Publishing. She is the principal owner of SKINZ Contemporary Native Clothing Company and owner of DesignCuts and Bella Salon and Spa.

Adam Wood - Director of Operations and Outreach
Adam (Sisseton-Wahpeton) has several years experience in customer service, sales and marketing. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in communications and marketing.
He brings his strong organizational skills to our companies, and is responsible for all administrative oversight for Oyate Research and Training, Oyate Publishing, SKINZ Contemporary Native Clothing Company, DesignCut, and, Bella Salon and Spa.
Our Consultants
Oyate Research and Training also subcontracts with 22 highly skilled Native professionals across Washington. Our consultants lead tribal organizations and departments and all have advanced degrees in their field.

Course Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel 10 days or more before your scheduled session, a 25% refund will given. A refund will not be provided for a cancellation made within 10 days of your scheduled session, but we are happy to hold a place for you in a future course at no additional charge.
